A magical mountain retreat
From the moment we arrived, the stunning views of the Watzmann went beyond our expectations. Each morning, we enjoyed a delicious breakfast while breathing in the fresh mountain air. The staff were incredibly warm, offering coffee in the lobby before dawn—perfect for those early risers! We also loved gathering around the fireplace in the cozy common area.
While our stay was enjoyable, we found the breakfast area quite crowded, making it a bit challenging to find a table during peak hours. Additionally, there were limited dining options nearby, which may be inconvenient for some travelers.

Family with children Relaxed getaway
We were a group of five, two couples and a baby, and the views from our balcony were nice! The breakfast was really good, I particularly appreciated the espresso machine and mimosas on offer, just perfect for the mood.
It wasn't exactly affordable, but for the experience, it was acceptable.

This place was just a proper fit for strolling in Berchtesgaden with value for price. The indoor pool was great for the kids after a day out. Try to get breakfast early to avoid the rush.

Spectacular views from the spacious family room made for a delightful stay, especially with snacks available in the communal area. The indoor pool was a hit with the kids, while the sauna provided a lovely way to relax. However, communication challenges arose as some staff only spoke Ukrainian, and breakfast seating was insufficient for the number of guests. Additionally, while the bathrooms in the two rooms were underwhelming, the overall ambiance had a dated feel.
